February Already!

Well, my sister informed me that I needed to update my blog, so here it goes. The past months have been very busy... Basketball games, dance class, school, outings with friends. Oh, and I FINALLY joined a gym. I am feeling so much better. Eating healthier, much healthier!! I was just not really caring, eating CRAPPY food all of the time. It finally caught up to me, cuz sure enough my jeans started to feel alittle SNUG! So, My friend Amy and I started going there together. The hardest part is getting there, but once I am there it's great. Well, not really great, but I am glad to have made it! AND, my sister Amy joined weight watchers, and i am very proud of her!! Even though I think she should just come and work out with me!

Sassy Peacock

So, I went to Sassy Peacock the other day (Consignment store in Erie), I bought a really cute winter vest, with alittle faux fur on the collar. The price: EIGHT DOLLARS!! I also bought a tweed skirt, adorable! Well that skirt was a whopping SIX DOLLARS!! Oh, and the time before that I bought Nine West boots, which go perfect with my tweed skirt!! Can't beat it! Since my new past-time is finding bargains like that, I really have gotten VERY cheap when shopping at other stores. So, I guess that's kinda good news! Organizing and Decluttering

Yesterday I spent ALL day cleaning my house, sorting through gloves, hat, coats, scarves, etc... Yes, it's that time again! My kids were at their friends house after school, so that was a big help. I feel alittle bit more organized now. Oh, and I was a FABULOUS wife, and ironed ALL of my husband's dress shirts! Of course, this morning I woke up and my body was sooo sore!! But, I am glad I got it all done. Saturday, I painted my bathroom. I love a fresh coat of paint!! And the color I like alot better! Pics to come. Sunday was the play Annie, which I LOVED!!! It was at Villa. Also, we went to my niece Lexie's basketball game. Drove my sister nuts alittle trying to talk the whole time! She gets alittle INTENSE, especially when it's her daughter's game!!

Spending the day in Geneva

Gary and I had a day to ourselves ,which really NEVER happens! So, he suggested we take a drive to Geneva. The weather was BEAUTIFUL, with the leaves changing colors, and the sun was shinning all day. We decided to go visit some wineries. One of the best days together in a long time! We really wished we could've stayed longer, but had to pick up the kids at their friends house. The last place we stopped was very fun. There was a country band there, so we got to dance alittle! We are definatly going back and have already told some friends to plan a weekend.

Missing Summer Already!

Today I actually had to turn my heat on. A very very cold day it is!! It would be different if the sun was out, but it's not, and it's DREARY! I want our summer back! So, today will be a day of going through winter jackets, scarves, hats,gloves, etc...Most of our summer was spent at our friend's pool. So, I am going to look on the bright side. The leaves in the fall are beautiful, Autumn decorations are my favorite colors, no more dreading having to put on a bathing suit, we are heading to 7 springs with my in-laws next weekend(which the kids have a lot of fun at!) So, I guess things aren't looking so bad!!

My Thoughtful Husband

Today I woke up to the sweet smell of frenchtoast! My husband Gary decided to go into work alittle late today to make me and the kids breakfast. What a nice treat that was considering the morning routine around here gets alittle chaotic! And tonight he will be coming home to make a shrimp dinner! (I am not a great cook!)
